Rob went above and beyond on every aspect of our bath remodel. We recently moved to the area from out of state and discovered that we had major problems with the bathroom in the home we purchased, including a tub that leaked water into the kitchen below. The flooring was coming up, there were drywall cracks all around and inside the shower/tub (Rob informed us that it was improperly installed), the toilet leaked, and the room was cramped and ugly. I didn’t know any contractors in the area and am so thankful that I contacted Rob!

First, he was genuinely sympathetic and spent a great deal of time listening to our needs and came up with several options for a remodel. This was an unexpected expense after our move, and to our pleasant surprise, Rob candidly discussed ways that we could keep costs lower and within our budget. The transformation he rendered was nothing short of miraculous! (See before and after images) Thanks to Rob’s design and skill, everything functions properly, with no more leaks. He also redesigned the room to give us more space.

On top of that, the end result is beautiful! We are so pleased with Rob’s work and attention to detail. I was in tears when I first spoke to him on the phone about the extensive problems with the bathroom, and I was in tears when he left because the remodel vastly exceeded all of our expectations! Rob even granted us a last-minute request to install a cabinet above the toilet that was not even part of our contract. He also made sure that we could continue to use the bathroom throughout the remodel, even to the point of temporarily hooking things back up when he left for the day.

Rob was prompt, professional, courteous, honest, and a delight! We plan to use his services for more projects in the very near future and consider him a friend of the family now. We highly recommend Burkhard Construction!
